In a perfect day i wake up at around 9:30 in the morning and head to the beach. It's a sunny day with a slight breeze and puffy white clouds preventing the blinding rays of sunshine from piercing my eyes. Embracing my friends in a warm slightly tight hug and catching up as we lay down our towels and begin to bask in the sun. After a long day of swiming in brightly colored swimsuits and snacking on sweet potatoe fries we go home and watch a movie or two. Watch the stars come out in the dark sky and doze off to sleep to wake up the next day and repeat the same thing.
- a dog is running along the beach yapping at the surf - she doesn't mind when she gets wet, but she's afraid of the waves
- eating food at the beach always gets you sticky, but it's worth it. salt all over your fingers and chin, potato crumbs on sticking to the sunscreen on your feet - there's nothing to do about it but dive back into the ocean one more time before the sun goes down
- it's been a long time since you've touched your friends at the beach. human skin gets so hot in the sun, it's like you can feel their life force when you embrace. everybody is sticky and laughing and pushing each other, and there's sand everywhere. it doesn't matter. at the end of this you can take a cold shower and feel it all wash away. get your skin and your hair nice and clean, snuggle up on the couch with some popcorn, and put on something you've all seen too many times together.
